Kustav’s showroom

We have designed and created interior lighting in the past for several F&B outlets delivered by Kustav Design Studio for their clients.

For this project they came with pretty unique request to us – they have dedicated a location at their office & test restaurant building, very small in size – only 3x5m, which they would convert to: 1.) A showroom out of interior elements to present to their future clients; 2.) A day-time meeting room; 3.) VIP dining-room during restaurant evening hours; 4.) Separate bar extension to the restaurant at the other times. 5.) Logo signage integrated in the front door.

To convert the function and the character of the this interior we had only one way achieve this – our favorite way – fully programmable lighting that is controlled from the phones of any staff in the office and the restaurant.

We selected lighting specially to increase to the maximum the perception of volume of the small space with infinity depth of light and in such way to outline the interior design elements at the foreground placing them in intimate proximity with the visitors.

We have created 14 scenes, able to change the whole set with single button, several with bright light on the table to suit creative office meetings, few more with mellow dining table lights and romantic slow surrounding moving backgrounds and the rest of the scenes suitable for various bar and party events settings, including few where the bar table would be used as a DJ desk.

Kustav’s experience and trust working with us in the past project gave them the confidence they can utilize this space value high beyond its limited size and that using just modern lighting technology, they could save the cost of countless hours for their staff working daily to re-arrange the space for it’s functions.
